The Problem
After going public in 1996, Premiere Technologies’ leadership team acquired five unique companies and found itself unable to integrate and synergize the businesses successfully. Hundreds of thousands of dollars in quarterly expenses were crippling the company. Executive management had become adversaries with individual visions for success.
Our Solutions
We were hired to lead the merger and integration efforts. We met separately with the leaders from each company, where we focused on preferred outcomes rather than grievances. Using what we learned, we built a uniform vision and developed shared goals, priorities and procedures for managing challenges. Under our leadership, within 120 days, we were able to model the organization, identify preferred technology, identify areas where synergies could be made, and created the network architecture for future revenue-generating products and services.
